Hi,
For a game in dev , we have some .fbx characters with multiple animations in them. I use Houdini to poly reduce them which is working really great !
Houdini import all the animations in different takes. The problem is when I want to export the LODs , Houdini export just one take at a time in .fbx . Is there a way to export just one .fbx with all the animations/takes in it ?
Have a nice day,
Sylvain.

would like to know too how people handle small scale simulations? Do you use greater scale or are there any tips to handle small real size simulations ?
thanks,

in a transform node , you could enter $CEX, $CEY, $CEZ for the pivot parameter to center the pivot (like circusmonkey said), and -$CEX,-$CEY,-$CEZ in the translate to move to the origin.

hi there ,
i need to make an ellipse shape in vop (like in the pic attached) that i can control via a null (for its position), i already know how to do this simply with a circular shape , but don t how to do this for an ellipse shape
any ideas ?
thanks

hi there ,
Here is a short version of a video mapping i worked on with paradigme (www.paradigme.tv):

a lot of things are done with houdini , hope you will like
see you.

Hi,
i created a simple helix (cos on X and sin on Z) like the curve 1 on the picture.
i made the deformed one (3 on the picture) with a wire deformer.
I woul like to know if there is a way to do an helix around a deformed curve directly in vop (without using a wire deformer)
thank you.

yep,i think there must be a smarter way to do it, so we can control the easing of the curve .
maybe with vopchop…

hi,
sorry for the newbie question , first time i m trying to use chops .
-in chop context , i use 2 geometry nodes to get attribute value from a sop node-
-what i want is pretty basic : just create an animation curve from this 2 values
say i got attrA and attrB , i want a curve that go from attrA(at frame 0) to attrB(at frame 48 )
if someone can point me in the good direction
thanks.

thank you , cool technique , very usefull
would it be possible to affect the scale of the geo (for exemple) without being too intensive/slow ?(with a for each, it's pretty slow) any ideas?
thanks.
tjeeds
You can even do some basic copy-stamping-like things here without the slowness of copy stamping.

Hi,
I'm facing some problems :
i made some primitives groups an created a point in the centroid of each . Now i would like to copy each group on the corresponding point for animate them with some particles ( a little like the primitive sop would do , but whith some primitives groups)
Maybe is there a way to convert a group of primitives to a single primitive (and so , using the primitive sop ) ?
hope i'm understandable
thank you,
sylvain.
