dulo
thanks a lot that really helped me.
The expression is not finished yet.
finally it should look something like
ingroup = rand(@id) > chramp(“parmProbability”, $F / $NFRAMES)
I want to be able to define different probabilities for diffent frames.
I have some animation about cells dividing in a cancer tumor and I want to delicious spam the probability of cell division in tumor over time ..
ok, just remember that for global variables like $F, $NFRAMES, the value gets expanded before the code is compiled, which is usually on frame 1 or something, so your $F / $NFRAMES would be always something like 1 / 240
to really have your frame value updating during playback you have to use @Frame instead of $F
however you can keep $NFRAMES as that is constant over the duration of the playback, so having that expanded to hardcoded value during compile is ok
ingroup = rand(@id) > chramp(“parmProbability”, @Frame / $NFRAMES);
