I was able to recover the file. I can open the file and edit it but I can not save or render it.
render error is command exit code 1.
and when I try to save it says permission denied.
I am using a mac.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hello, so I was working on this file.
There was a bit of problem with the rendering so I saved and relaunched Houdini.
Then suddenly this error appeared.
It is not my first time this error appeared. Last time I just gave up because the file wasn't that important.
Does anyone know why this happens and how I could fix it please?
(I do have a backup on my computer but it is better if I had the newest version and knew how I could fix it…)
Thanks!!

These are tests of story animation I am going to make…
Modeled in Blender. Rigged and animated in Houdini. Materials and hair simulation also done in Houdini.
Thanks to the member of the forum!
Rendered out in mantra because renderman didn't support hair simulation.

Hello, I was trying to render out a simple animation with my character, then some weird striped shadows appeared in my render…
Does anyone know what is the cause of this and how I can solve it? Is it a common thing?

Thank you I solved the problem. I changed the skin object to the deformed rig itself instead of the attribute transferred rig and it worked.
Thank you for your help!!!

Is there a proper way to set fur to a deformed rig?
Maybe I haven't went through those steps correctly…

And I get this bad parameter warning on my deform skin and fur.
It says bad parameter reference in the shop properties path.
Maybe I have some problem in a shop properties path that I can't see…

Yes, the eyebrows are not hair simulation. They are a coy of lines.
The strange thing is I scaled down the character but the hair is still not appearing in the viewport or render…

matthias_kThat might be possible..
maybe an attribute is overriding the default hair settings?

Thank you matthias
I tried comparing the scale of my model with yours. It is actually quite big.
But I tried changing the values of the hair length and thickness to about 100~1000 but still nothing appears in render…

Okay, here is the file with the original skin attached to it.
Can you see what is wrong here?
The blend shapes, the material and the other parts of the body is omitted.
