Hi all,

Is it possible to have more than one material assigned to a delay load object? I know I can store path to the material as an string attribute. But on the other hand once delay load is read I have to assign a new materail on the object level, otherwise I am getting black renders.
I will be gratefull if someone could explain me how delay load works and if it's possible to have several materials assigned to it? Thanks.

kuba

PS. Can I save bgeo as ASCII?

Czesc Kuba,

Add “Declare All Materials” from Edit Rendering Params in Mantra ROP and turn it on. You can also turn on “Force VEX Shader Embedding”, easier to manage render farm.

ASCII *.bgeo is a *.geo

cheers,
sy.

Yes, it is.

Be patient and I will create a simple simple example.

PS. “Declare all materials” - Didn't know it is so simple! I would never found it out though!
