Hi there.I am a maya user & quite new 2 HOUDINI. Well i am trying 2 create fur and followed the basic fur setting available in the help section but everytime i am creating a fur surface node & connect it 2 its 1st input, the fur surface node appears with red stripe on it meaning an error on it. When i MIB the fur node it says “ error: not enough sources specified” & on the top of it the render appears pitchblack. Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong & what can i do to resolve this problem? Tanx in advance. :shock:

Is there an example file in the help? If there is try that. The error means that you didn't wire enough nodes into it.
