the set key frame doesn't work with Houdini 9.1.260 on OpenSuse 10.3 64 bit.

Almost every new install of linux has a desktop that defaults to using that key combo for window management. Use the personal preferences, under Desktop/Window Behavior/Window Actions and set the modifier key + left button to do nothing rather than move windows around.
