Are Houdini Fluids Multithreaded?

I run a heavy simulation on XP64 with 4 gb ram, intel quad core, and the sim not use all the processors avaliable it only uses 50%, is that normal?

Only certain phases of the simulation are multithreaded - so you should see the cpu meter jump up to 100% for part of the simulation, no?

Yes Yes, at certain parts of the sim the meter reach the 100%.
