Hey,
OK, I must have done something wrong. After I capture the geo (in Char. Tools), I though I am supposed to set a keyframe on the Capture SOP's “Capture Frame”. But nooo… upon loading, houdini recooked…….
Aren't there any better system than this…? Why do we have to remember to set a keyframe to hold the capture in place…?
keeping capture in place

When you capture your geometry, all the bones and nulls built with the character bone state will have keys at the capture frame which defaults to zero. If you have additional objects or nulls that are controlling the rig and are added after the fact, they too must have a single key at the capture frame to ensure that the character aligns with the controller bone rig. If not, then you will have issues the next time you load or change the deformed geometry upstream of the capture and capture edit SOPs.
