I am having a difficult time trying to understand how to use the .otl file in the Houdini Exchange called “Willy” (below). I put the files in the right place but then I still don't know how to get Willy up in my viewport. Here are the instructions that came with the download:
Install Willy otl:
Put willy.otl in otls folder inside the documents/houdini9/otls
Install Willy Pose:
Put presets folder Inside the documents/houdini9.
Use Willy Pose:
Push Gear menu and select pose from the list.

I think there are some steps missing between the “Install” instructions and the “Use Willy Pose” instructions.

Many thanks!

Did you create a node of type Willy HDA?

No. I need to know how to start from scratch with a new file open. I was able to “Install Digital Asset Library” that now has (in red) object/Willy, Object/geo, and Sop/file (see below)
Other than that I'm stumped.

once you have the otl installed just go to the network view and use TAB>Willy to place an instance of the asset.
