hi .. is there any other way of attracting particles to a geometry that does NOT include attractor pop and a point sop with forces enabled. i find is extremely difficult to use and manipulate the forces to get the particles attract using this method . any other suggestions ?

the follow pop with a leader id and the FOLLOW attribute defined inside the property pop can give you direct targets for each particle.
You'll need source and target particles for this.

It works alright as long as you do not have several follow pops “fighting” eachother - then you get jittering. You can also implement your own inside a vop pop (which blends nicer).
