I'm trying to use on my LAPTOP houdini, that is installed on my WORKSTATION.
Both computers are running linux (fedora 12).
There is only one problem - when I run on my laptop command:
ssh -X <ip> - after login I can run houdini - but every shell icon is blank white box (this doesn't disturb my workflow), but almost all inscriptions dissapeared - the only inscriptions that are still visible are on timeline and the main menu program (“file, edit, …”),
but all words in menus, or after pressing tab, or names of nodes are simply not visible.
Is there any method to fix that?
(For some reasons I'd love to run houdini with ssh
)
