for exampl if i have a perfect.cloth sim but i want it to start …like one minute later….how do i go about this?

There is a number of things you can do.

One the dopnetwork you can specify the start frame for the whole sim.

Inside the dopnet you can use the activate parameters or the active value node to activate groups of objects.

or simply offset the cache
either object sequence or for cloth usually pointcache (mdd)

or use Timeshift SOP to offset anything you are importing to SOPs

or Shift CHOP to offset channels either from rbd Dynamic CHOP or cloth/wire Geometry CHOP
