I've tried downloading Houdini Apprentice Windows 32-bit multiple times, but the files gets up to 18.6MB and then hangs and cancels. Is this a problems with the servers or my end? I'm using Chrome.

It's working for me using Firefox 3.6.16 on Windows Vista. My guess is that you have some anti-virus (or related) software that is blocking it. I've seen some of these software erroneously thinking that the NSIS installer used is a virus.

I have the same problem : downloading stops around 18Mb.
I tried on several computers and OS (XP,Seven,Firefox 4,etc…)
I'm using Avast Free and the default Windows firewall.
Any idea ?

Sorry I didn't see the previous post about turning off Avast.
