i am following the houdini tutorial, and i just finished mirroring the column. i have to make a curve, but every time i make a curve, the curve flies off in some other direction instead of the direction it goes in the tutorial, i have tried moving the little boxes that i assume are supposed to be the two points the line goes through, but they just make the line go even further away. the line never even touches either side!

please let me know if i havent given enough information, because this problem is driving me crazy and i cant find a solution to it

I had the same problem. Try to get the latest version. Im using the version 12.0.543.9 - its not the latest but it works
