hello every
if we want to build fluids from scratch we have to convert the geometry into
volume , old method was to use isooffset node, in H12 they changed to
fluid source node , i want to know the difference between these node.
fluid source v/s isooffset

The construction of the points is still based on the initial generation of a fog volume. The places where this happens has increased.
The Fluid Source is an HDA and inside one of the options is to construct a point cloud suitable for FLIP fluids.
You can dive inside and have a look.
If you use the FLIP Fluid from Object tool, the point cloud construction happens inside the FLIP Object DOP from a constructed volume.

There's at least one school like the old school!
