I look forward to find an easy notepad, written in python. I thought it could be usefull havong such a notepad directly in the python pane tab. Usefull (for me) mainly for expressions….

Could anyone give me a hint please?

I don't know about Houdini integration, but the interactive iPython system could be a useful way to learn more about general Python development. It's a friendly, forgiving scripting scratchpad that might help you explore more about the language.

indeed it would and should be nice to learn python. But I had to change from Maya to Houdini and in the moment there isnt a tiny chink in my brain for even more information. quiet now I stand in front of the door to ab brain infarct lol ;-)

Certainly its on my todo list for next year. I know the effect working without it…
