Like the title says, I was wondering if there was any consideration put towards supporting UDK/UE4 with the new Houdini Engine tools. Unity and UDK have always been two sides of a coin (for me at least), but what with UE4's new licensing structure, “Blueprint” visual scripting language, and recent source code exposure (amongst other things), I'd think that there are inroads to be made on SESI's behalf.

Any plans for Houdini Engine expansion into UE4 territory?

We had a little talk lately about the need for UE4, I was on the opposite side of the spectrum because I didn't wanted to have the same situation like with Unity, where things that you may get thanks to extensions from Unity shop are not supported by plugin because they are not there by default. I opted for documentation for HEngine instead and two days ago it was finally posted on-line.
With source code for UE4 i think that there is no beter way for a plugin than writing your own HEngine implementation. I have no time frame for my implementation since I'm totally new to UnrealEngine so I will have to sink in it first too.
Anyway, i'm sure that SESI thinks about their own version for UE4, you may join in in the topic below and post your vote.
