Changing background value on a VDB

I've got a VDB that stores a function value and I'm trying to manually set the background value to no avail. It doesn't appear to be editable as an intrinsic and I can't seem to find a node that will do what I want. It's currently set to 0 and I need it to be 1.

Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

I just checked the VDB code and currently none of the SOPs directly support this. I'll file a ticket.

Was this ever solved? Poking through the VDB nodes in 14.0.335, I don't see it.

hey jono!

if you need a workaround, you can create a new vdb with the new background value, then shuffle the values over with vdb combine (replace A with active B)
