Okay,
I am running houdini 7
1)How do i extrude 2 adjoining polygons as a aingle surface as in max?

2)How do I display all three handles in edit model
(scale/transform/rotate)?

3)Is it possible for me to export to max or do I need a plugin?

Any help is appreciated
Thanks in Advance

2) You can't. One can quickly switch between them using the E, R, and T hotkeys.
3) I think we're mostly looking a geometry. Can max import .obj files?

Thanks for the reply Edward,
Yes there is a free plugin that allows me to import obj files into max.
But I have no experience what so ever about this file type.
Will the import have all the polygons I have in my object ie will I be able to edit in editpoly mode.
How do I export from Houdini as an obj file?

Your first question I think depends on your importer. The .obj file format output from Houdini will contain polygons, uv's (point), and “shading groups”. To export, you can right-click on the SOP you want to export and choose “Save Geometry…”, give it a filename that ends in .obj (lowercase).
