What is the difference between these two? i looked through the nodes in both and at a glance i didn't notice a difference.

is there a reason why the vopsop was separated out to a few different types? is it mostly for future?

Yes - they are both AttributeVops, the ‘pointvop’ is aliased for familiarity.

also kinda of a convenience… you do not have to drop and attribVop, then change the tab, then change to primitives, blah blah…
