A couple of things I noticed after upgrading a computer to Windows 10:

1) I had to repair the MSVC runtime installers (I was getting errors like “msvcp110.dll missing”)
2) When trying to get an Apprentice license, I was getting an “Error installing key” message. It's because the license folder (C:\Windows\keys) is read-only. You can work around it by running Houdini the first time as an Administrator (via RMB on the shortcut)

As was shared first on this thread (), Windows 10 seems to fix graphics problems on the Surface Pro 3 (at least in two cases).
