Hello,

What is the best way to move the points in a group (group1) to another, static group (group2) such that no matter if the point is removed from group1, it remains in group2? I'm trying to use the @group_* virtual attribute to add to group2 but I'm not sure if I'm using this correctly; so far whatever added or removed to group1 is done to group2 as well.

Is it possible for you to use an Attribute?
Then you can use “Group by Expression” and “$ATTR > 0”
(Attribute Name - condition - your value)
to add Points/Primitives to a group. Advantage is maybe: You can add/remove Elements to the groups via Painting, over Time via Solver or Chops, whatever….
Can you explain what you like to get as a result or what you like to do with the groups?
