Hello everyone !
This is my first topic on this forum, and I believe it won't be the last
I've started a new ambitious project, where I'll try to destroy a Bridge of the city where I live ( in CGI of course ! ).
I thought it would be more interesting for you to present you the project, so, there is the modeling of the bridge I've done in Maya : https://vimeo.com/164392919 [vimeo.com]
I've imported just a portion of a main pillar, for testing the fracturing process.
My first goal was to create Clusters based on each brick, because the default VoronoiFracturing+Clusters created clusters connected between bricks. So I created a “For Each”, to separate every bricks and this is what I've come to :http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=519228Contruction.jpg [hostingpics.net]
Sorry for my bad english, I hope my explanations are clear
https://vimeo.com/166336131 [vimeo.com] ( password : CaptainFlint ) This is a video of the early tests
My problem : How can i create a constraint network between each fragments of the clusters. The goal is to have my cluster fragments detach from each others when comes the impact.
I've tried turning on the “Create Constraint Network” of the “Cluster” tab of the “Voronoi Fracture”, but it just erase every cluster.
Please find attach the scene files and the OBJ of the pillar so you'll better understand my problem I guess ^^
Thank you Houdini community !

Check out the master class on Bullet. Around 1:20:00 minutes there is some information on how to art direct constraint release/glue bonds.
