Hi all,

I am new to Houdini and learning.

I am looking to achieve the kind of effect given in the reference video below:

https://vimeo.com/100104687 [vimeo.com]

Check out the characters, they are made of grains and I am also looking for same/similar effect that can work with fluids as well.

Thanks in advance for your help. Hope to hear from you soon.

Regards

For best performance write out the current animated character as a .bgeo.sc sequence then bring it back into a new geo object via the file node. Use that new geo as a fluid source for the shelf tools.

I did that and no result. The character gets static when using flip fluid object from shelf tool but if I use SOP Solver and use pop network, it does show the motion and particles move as per the object transformation.

Did anyone ever figure out how to use a character (animated) as a FLIP Object?
