I am unable to record vel field from a smoke sim correctly.
The vel field stay blank even if teh smoke react as expected.
If I add some noise on th vel field with the fluidsource node, only this noise is visible in the output vel field.

Can you ,please check my hip file ?
I only want to advect some particles …

P.S. : I use the 15.5.607 version

On the source volume DOP, under the volume operation tab. The velocity is set to “copy” and since its in the last input(post solve) on the solver, you are writing over the velocity field with the source velocity the last thing you do each time step. You probobly want to set it to add.
