I'm trying to select geometry that consists of a point cloud being read with a file node, but I can't select it in the Scene View.
The selectable flag is enabled on the geometry node.
What am I missing?

How are you trying to select it? If the selection mode is “Primitive” it cannot be selected because point clouds don't have a parent primitive, they're just free points. Try “Point” selection instead.
