I am coming from Cinema4D, if you click the axis of rotate tool then hold shift you can constrain the rotation to 15° increments (15,30,45 . . degrees) instead of free handing it, ie: 31.364°. Does Houdini have such a method?

Houdini doesn't have this feature - but it's a good RFE:

I received a response from Silvina and was told to hover over selected axis, middle button then use the sliders to constrain the rotation.

But this is not snap. I have same experiences for RFE that is just be given an work around without record RFE.

I think I RFE this some time ago too but cant find the RFE ID unfortunately. In general the snapping functionality within the viewport could be more polished overall.

Also not a big fan of using middle mouse as a workaround when it can be done better.
