I'm trying to learn VEX and prefer to have the larger vex editing window open which according to 16.5.268 can be accessed by typing Cmd + E or Alt + E. Neither work on my machine.

Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I've seen that behavior as well. Acting normally again in 16.5.330 and macOS 11.13.2. But you could also try redefining those shortcuts in the Hotkey Manager.

Yes, having this issue in Houdini 17. These shortcuts never worked for me.

Assign a new Hotkey...go to Edit > Hotkeys under Context expand Houdini then expand Panes then click on Textport. Under Action click on Open Editor, then to the far right click on the green circle with a plus and on the keyboard below click on Cmd and E, which are mistakenly by default unassigned. Apply and Accept...
