I’m trying to store the primitive selection from the ‘polyextrude’ operator in a group. Currently the group is using hardcoded primitive IDs which require manual updating every time the mesh is modified.
How I can make the group reference the selected primitives from the ‘polyextrude’ operator?
I think what you try to do is already possible in the polyextrudeSOP itself. You can create groups for the front, the back and the sides of the extruded faces. You can also name these groups as you wish. Check the attached file.
