Hi,
How I can lock object/item names? Lets say I have a box and I have made polybevel for some edges. Then I add boolean before the polybevel node and because edge names changed, polybevel not work anymore. I have to redefine edges again.
thx

I'd have suggested to create a group for your edges before your boolean, but it looks like edge groups are deleted by boolean operations, unlike point and primitive groups. You could always create a point group, do your boolean, then promote it to an edge group, but that won't work in all situations.

yeah SOL unless you write wrangles to store & retrieve point-pairs.
Problem is edges not having their own index, not data-holding entities like points or primitives. Difficult to use in a procedural setup. Try putting in a request to make edges 1st-class citizens… or at least preserve edge-groups in SOPs that change topology.
