I'm trying to groom some long hair. And to be able to better see what I'm doing I'd like to hide some hair strands while grooming individual strands.
Of course Houdini creates a visibility node for hiding hair, the more nodes the better, right ? So this node is placed after the “guidegroom” and when I then continue grooming I get a new “guidegroom” node at the end of my node tree.
Which is something I don't want for several reasons.
Does anyone know how to hide hair strands without it screwing up the node tree ? Or control where Houdini connects the nodes for that matter. Or do I really have to dis- and reconnect nodes manually every time I hide some strands ?
Thanks,
R.
