Hi,

So, Production Build 18.5.351 has issues with rendering whilst under the Indie banner. For some reason, when working under the Karma renderer, as soon as you come out of the Stage mode, the license downgrades to Apprentice. This then means you can't save your work under the Indie license scheme.

Mantra also has issues but that maybe due to the fact I've got OR installed?

Is there going to be a updated release soon to address these issues?

BTW. Forgive my technical knowledge Re:Houdini, but I'm relatively new to it, but… it is fast becoming my go to work-horse!

I think this was a bug with the release build that has since been fixed.
Updates come every day (and typically every 30 - 40 days one of those daily builds is marked as a new production build).

You can get the newest one from the download page and try if it fixes your problem (you can have several installs in parallel on your workstation, no need to replace them).

Thanks for chiming in, unfortunately my main drive doesn't have excess room these days! All the CC bloat etc… Windows being 20Gb! Arrghhh.

Anyway, it's good to know about the daily builds, and I assume if they are marked production ready then it will be a great release anyway. Houdini seems to be the 2nd most solid piece of 3D software I use

Just to say, I downloaded the latest 5.400 build and it's nice to jump from one environment to the other without any digression
