Hi!

I am quite new with Houdini but this sounds so simple that I SHOULD be able to figure it out but so far not even close

I have an edge group that I want to turn to polygon(s) i.e. each connected loop would make a polygon. Those are flat so no problems like that but I cannot find a way to do it

There is probably some simple node that does it but I have tried many but none does what I need.
Labs Edge Group to Curve does what it says but I need Edge Group to Polygons node

I know it can be done in VEX but there must be simpler way with nodes only.

Please help me

Thank you!

Hey atnreg,

why not simply using a polyfill after the LABS edgegroup_to_curves node?

Cheers

Hi!

Thank you CYTE, I knew there was some easy way and that is it! Works perfectly!

Vusta, polyextrude does it wrong way, I wanted to get the polygon from edge group that is the outline of the polygon.

Thank you both for your time!
