Is there an easier way to select a render region in Karma outside of typing something like .5 .5 .6 .6 into the Data Window NDC fields?

Yes. It´s not the best, but works. Use space+5 to go the image viewport and use shift+drag to create the region when Karma is active.

Oh nice, that works great! For me it's alt-drag though.

I believe it was jsmack that shared a much nicer way of doing render regions than the wonky stage image view. In the stage viewer, switch to the 2D Pan and Zoom view and drag a region with Shift+LMB. Clear regions by clicking Shift+LMB.

That is very good to know.
There definitely needs to be a button for that. Hidden features like this make the learning curve steeper, and the adoption rate slower.

Great to know. I've used Solaris so much and was always using the image view/fixed aspect ratio one. That works fine, but it would be nice to be able to pick any size you want.

Cool. Is it possible in Karma to do this at render time?
