Hi everyone,
I'm new to Houdini and I've got this weird issue on my learning journey. So I try to create the debris simulation using the debris shelf tool. But when I simulate, some of the particles/debris just hang in the air like the video. Can you guys point out the problem for me? I also upload the hip file so you guys can have a better look. Thanks a lot <3

Your file doesn't load any geometry because the references all lead to your local storage. I would recommend setting up test scenes using Houdini primitives, or locking import nodes (doesn't always work)

Just as Jikian said, your file doesn't load so couldn't check the hip. However, I think there is a collision issue with the debris. Try to change them to convex hull or concave. Or I realized that in the debris_sim, your static objects do not have use deforming geo ticked, so they are probably seeing the wall on its first frame and colliding with it right away. Try to set them to deforming objects, see if it changes anything.
