Hey! Back with another question that's probably super easy but I can't wrap my head around!

The idea: To have a tube that rolls along, eventually rolling over a sphere (or multiple spheres), squishing them in the process, but the kicker would be to have the sphere(s) stick to the tube as it rolls over them.

The current setup: I have the sphere setup as a vellum cloth, and the animated tube going into the collision input of the cloth constraint. This means that when the tube rolls over the sphere, it reacts (squishes a bit and moves).

I'm almost certain I'm approaching this all wrong, but that's where my limited houdini knowledge took me!

Any help would be massively appreciated!

With the vellum approach, you can create constraints dynamically during the sim using the vellumconstraints node inside your dopnet.
This [youtu.be] masterclass goes in depth on how to use it.
