I will setup a 64bit linux environment dedicated to Houdini, however it's been a very long time since i've used a linux distribution. I am totally unaware of their current development. All i need is the most user friendly interface, from setup to maintanence. From what i read i see that Suse, Debian and Ubuntu are more user friendly than others. Please shoot your recommendations, thanks in advance.

Get SuSE or Ubuntu. Lot of people here really like SuSE so they can offer you some support with installing, houdini issues and graphics problems (if there are any).
