I have an animation of wavy particles movement. There are 240 frames. How can I use the cache in such a way so that instead of controlling the animation to move forward and backward, I can utilize the cache in the following way.

1 to 240 (forward motion)

240 to 150 (reverse motion)

150 to 191 (forward motion)

191 to 43 (reverse motion)

43 to 240 (forward motion)

...so on and so forth

..then feed this cache combination into a final animation cache?

You can use a retime node and keyframe it.

Thanks. That worked! Took some help from chatgpt to write expressions for the switch node because there will be different pieces of animations that need to be sequenced together one after another.

Came out like this.

1 to 240 (forward motion)
240 to 150 (reverse motion)
150 to 191 (forward motion)
191 to 43 (reverse motion)
43 to 240 (forward motion)
here is an example of literally keyframing the above, if you want to avoid too many nodes and expressions and just do want you described in a form that may be easier to edit
