Hello, trying to render a fast evolving volume I cached at 4 substeps/frame to get more accurate motion blur in Karma, but can't seem to get it to work. I tried playing with the Geometry Time Samples of the Karma render settings and the Subframe sampling parameters of the Volume LOP, but I always get the same result as when I only cached one file per frame. Anybody got this to work and could point me to a solution?

I don't think that is possible. Volumes have no temporal consistency, so storing subframe versions of them is
of no use. How do you track a voxel in that slice of time to another? The was a Pixar Doc maybe, on something along
these lines for more accurate subframe blur of volumes, but that is the only one I ever saw.
I'm not lying, I'm writing fiction with my mouth.

Well you can render geometry with changing topology with several substeps, as long as they have a velocity attribute. I would assume the same could be possible with volumes.
