I have an RBD car rig simulation of a regular .obj car model. but now I'd like to switch the car parts (body, chasis etc) out with customized versions of the geometry.
I need to do it after the simulation as the customization interferes with the sim.
can anyone tell me how to do that? I have all the car parts grouped named etc.
Īf the new customized geometry lines up with the original car geometry at rest (straight out of the RBD Car Rig) then you could simply use the simmed packed geo as input to a transform pieces SOP to transform the new geo.
