On to day three and architecture. This will be a great day for environment art.
On request - as people see your artwork they will often check your profile page. Please flesh out your profile with a biography, social media links and your skill set. Also add a banner and a profile picture and be sure to check the "Include my profile in the Artist Directory" checkbox. If you are looking for work then you can indicate that in your profile as well. The more people learn about you the more they can connect to your artwork.

The modelling is done around the idea of buildings that somehow aligns to the sunlight. Also learnt to use the group by bounding object for this. Modelling was done quickly in order to be able to render an animation. Tried some noise on the camera pos/rot and lens distortion but it looks a bit crap in most parts. I am most satisfied with the zooming shot. The render took about 19 hrs on my 10 year old gaming laptop with Karma CPU.
When designing the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi used chains tied together and hung from the ceiling with weights to understand how forces would move through his designs. My entry today takes inspiration from these hanging chain models, and the famous cathedral. Would love to see what Gaudi would make in Houdini
Frustrated by the purple clipping on the sun but no time to fix- if anyone knows how to prevent this in the future, please let me know, I'm new to this!
