Upgraded to 10.10.1 and Houdini 13 can't find the license server now. Apple's machine renaming causes Houdini's licensing severe indigestion I'm guessing.

Sounds strange - fx and fx launched as apprentice works here on 10.10.1,

Houdini 13.0.582

Thanks. Maybe its this machine. I seem to get a lot of licensing problems with Houdini but a while back support said Macs had some licensing issues so I thought I'd toss up a note.

The license keys are tied to the machine name. OSX Yosemite has known problems with the hostname changing if you google around, you'll see various complaints on this.
