Hero waves can be fully art-directed and blend seamlessly with spectral waves. Whitewater now runs at the geometry level and renders faster with the Ocean procedural for high-quality, optimized output.

The library of waves now include the Encino Waves which are much easier for artists to get a believable ocean look. Kelvin Wakes can also be added using a deformation tool from SideFX Labs.

SHALLOW | Water

The Shallow Water solver is a new solution which works on height fields making it essentially a 2D fluid simulation. This allows for strong interactions with the landscape as the fluid fills the space.
