Just installed F16 on an HP8000 workstation with Quadro 4 980 XGL.
and installed apprentice H11.1.118. When houdini first launches, all the
menu items are visible and everything appears normal. As soon as i
drop down a node, all the menu items disappear and no text is visible in
the parameter pane or tab menu.
Prior to this i had houdini apprentice H10 running on the same machine
with kubuntu using an nvidia driver without a hitch. Haven't had success
installing the nvidia driver yet. Wondering if anyone else has seen this
or could maybe lend some advice. thanks.
