Hello everyone I'm new to the forums.

I started learning Houdini for fx and i would like to ask a question.
How to increase the ram usage for Houdini, currently when i take a look at cash manager it says that 9 GB of memory is the limit.

I have 32 GB and i7 processor and i would like to set Houdini to use most of my processing and memory resources.

for dops - check the dop object and increase cache size for sims.

Not necessarily, you can save the new cash size as default. Ultimately you only have to change those values if your RAM is not enough for what you're doing.
Also not that increasing the cache size to the max doesn't mean houdini is always going to try and max it out, ergo it's not absolutely necessary.
