Hi. I have found that the interaction between flip fluids and wires using the fluid force dop is behaving strangely; even when I use the FlipFluidWire.otl example file.

When the fluid collides with the wires, they stretch out erratically. I have attached a screenshot of what happens when using the above mentioned example file.

I am using the latest non-commercial release.

the elasticity values on the wire object are not nearly high enough
try:
Linear Spring Const: 10000
Lin Damp : 100
Ang Spring Const: 100
Ang Damp : 10

these values keep the wires from freaking out…
I'd up the point count on the Line SOP as well…
