Hi,

Im about to model and texture a product like the one attached.

What is your approach on a package like this?

I could simply model a simple box, but its this lid on top that I dont know how to model.

I appreciate all the inputs I can get.

You could construct it the way it's built in real life. It helps to have the package (or something close enough) in front of you so you can see how stuff is folded and glued together.
I've modeled similar packaging, take a look at the attached hip file.
