Why disappeared tips (help)?

For a long time I used the tips. They are comfortable and in new version of H14 they no longer exist. Why were they removed?

I have this problem too. It worked, as you say, but seems to come and go - if you resize the window the lists appear occasionally, but tooltips are no longer visible for a while now.

you are a houdini master when you know all the commands on the fly:-)

i think there was a discussion about that problem. if you want you can make a bug report:

haha, I have very short memory, after a hard day's work and of good sleep, I forget to everything . Is so so, what commands need to write … Oh hell, no tips!

i too have this problem and it really sucks. It was so obviously broken I was sure it was already logged as a Bug?

edit: It was already logged as a known issue. bug #65554

hey guys, I have the same problem.
it's very hard to compile an expression (or a path) without the assist.
Any news about the fixing?

It's even more frustrating when you are new and learning the software by following a course that is explaining things about the quick help and you aren't able to follow :x :evil: ops:

It's been working in Houdini 15 for a while now; have you tried the latest daily build? If that's still not working, file a bug with support.

I wasn't sure if i should download daily builds or wait for production build. Still new in the world of Houdini. Getting the latest build. Thanks.

Oops, I meant to say production, but it's been in H15 for a while now. I can't remember which build exactly, but I'm seeing Python, vex, expression tips now.

Or are you talking about parameter tool tips? I know some times, under certain conditions (which I've never been able to reproduce), the descriptions will go away, and it'll only display the parm name.

I have the latest production build which is 15.0.347 and when i would type stamp( i couldn't get the tips like the tutorial i'm following. Just installed daily build 15.0.375 and now shows up
