<Update Forgot to unpack the Alembic before the pscale wrangle.>

When I import a model from Modo as an Alembic scene, Mantra unexpectedly renders the vertices as points. It doesn't happen when I import as an FBX. First time I've seen this.

I'm wondering whether this has happened to anyone else and if there's a fix before I rebuild the geo?

It's as if I need to turn off Point Rendering (which isn't an option under the Alembic geo render tab). I tried wrangling pscale to something small like 0.0001 but that didn't work.

Attached are a sample file and screen shots from Houdini and Modo of the model.

Thanks for any ideas, Kevin

Take a look under the Geometry TAB of the geo object. There is a combo/dropdown where you can turn off Render As Points.

Thanks Enivob. That's what I thought too but AFAI can tell, the Render as Poiints toggle isn't included in the Alembic scene geo. Let me know if I'm wrong b/c that would be really helpful.

It is not part of the Alembic scene node , but that is just a subnet. Inside, each geo object will have the Geometry tab I mentioned.
