Skinning Question

Hey all,
is there a function in Houdini for hammering weights like Maya has? I have some very stubborn points on my mesh that wont paint regardless of what angle i try

You can always just select the bone and hand tweak the capture values on the node under the Capture tab.

If you have not enabled Dual Quaternion on the Deform node give that a try as well. I find it helps smooth out weights a bit
Using Houdini Indie 20.0

TAB > Edit Capture Weights
select the point(s) and you'll get little handles on the bones…
